01 · Speaker placement

Stage sound with support for selected areas

Two TS415 speakers were positioned at the stage. One TS410 was placed near the middle of the building and the second TS410 along the left side, extending sound support beyond the main stage area.

02 · Preparation and coordination

Regular communication across a five-day event

As this was the team’s first full five-day deployment at Dermaga Diraja, requirements were discussed with the client before and throughout the event. Practical adjustments were agreed so the team could meet the programme’s needs within the available equipment and operating limits.

03 · Coverage challenge

Managing the furthest audience areas

The requested coverage reached almost 100 metres, and the sound level was lower at the furthest point. It remained manageable for this event, but we would not recommend repeating the same arrangement where consistent sound is required over a similar distance. A larger system planned specifically for the venue should be assessed before confirmation.

Result

A smooth five-day programme and a clear operational lesson

Alhamdulillah, the programme ran smoothly across all five days. The sound supported the stage and selected audience areas, while the basic static lighting covered the stage. The experience also showed that a future event requiring consistent coverage across a similar distance should use a larger system planned specifically for the venue.

Setup B2 is a useful reference, but the final arrangement still depends on the venue, audience layout and microphone requirements.
